Detroit Reman implements, maintains, and improves the Company’s environmental management system, certified to ISO 14001:2015 standards. The environmental management system supports prominent environmental performance developed from a sound environmental policy.
Environmental Policy.
Detroit Reman is dedicated to the protection and preservation of the environment in the production, remanufacturing, and distribution of its products and services. It is our intent to be recognized by our customers, employees and community as a responsible business committed to environmental management and production. The implementation of this policy is the responsibility of all our employees and supported by top management.

Remanufacturing and the Environment.
Remanufacturing conserves natural resources and reduces pollution by:
- Reusing raw materials which would otherwise be mined from the earth
- Conserving energy by reusing old parts or cores rather than melting them down to raw material
- Reducing the generation of waste by keeping old parts out of landfills
